Sandra (Sandy) A. Shurick, 69, passed away peacefully in her home in Harwich on June 12 surrounded by family. She battled lung cancer that was diagnosed in September 2016. She will be greatly missed by her husband Geno, daughter Shannon, three step-daughters, Charlene, Holly, and Melanie, two siblings, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her other family members, and her many amazing friends.

Born and raised in Framingham, the daughter of Robert and Mary A. (Ciccarelli) McAnulty, Sandy graduated from Framingham North High. She was a cheerleader in high school and a great, fun, loving friend to many.

Sandy had a long successful career in radio advertising and real estate. She worked as the Sales Manager for WKOX-AM radio in Framingham for over 10 years and for the past 17 years has been a real estate agent for Today Real Estate on Cape Cod, where she lived in Harwich with her husband Geno. In her free time she could be seen around the Cape managing Geno's professional singing career! Her presence always lit up a room. She was loved and admired by many people and will be greatly missed.

There will be a Memorial Visitation at Doane Beal & Ames funeral home in West Harwich on Tuesday, June 27 from 10a-12p followed by a Celebration of Life service in the same location. Attendees are invited to a luncheon at Jake Rooney's in Harwich following the service.
