Dunne, (Murray) Jeanne Marie, 88, of Harwich, formerly of Bernardsville, NJ and Boston, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Jeanne was predeceased by her loving husband, William L. Dunne who she was married to for 45 years. Born in Boston to Robert C. and Louise (McCabe) Murray, educated in the Boston public schools, she went on to graduate from Boston University with a bachelor's degree and started her career as a dietitian at Boston City Hospital. Dunne, (Murray) Jeanne Marie, 88, of Harwich, formerly of Bernardsville, NJ and Boston, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Jeanne was predeceased by her loving husband, William L. Dunne who she was married to for 45 years. Born in Boston to Robert C. and Louise (McCabe) Murray, educated in the Boston public schools, she went on to graduate from Boston University with a bachelor's degree and started her career as a dietitian at Boston City Hospital. After her career in Boston, Jeanne moved to Gorham, NH and taught home economics for three years where she met and married Bill. Jeanne "retired" in 1954 to Bernardsville, NJ where she began raising her six children. In 1976 she moved from NJ to Harwich, Massachusetts. Jeanne enjoyed spending her time playing bridge with her friends, was an avid quilter and a huge Bruins fan. Her deep and abiding Catholic faith made her a significant part of the Holy Trinity Church community.

Jeanne leaves behind her loving children: Marianne Dunne and her husband David Barber of Marblehead, MA, Stephen Dunne and his wife Phyllis of York Beach, ME, Richard Dunne and his wife Nancy of Pennington, NJ, Ruth Collins and her husband Peter of Weymouth MA, Nancy Giorgio and her husband Michael of Murphy, TX, and Patricia Figueroa and her husband Daniel of Encinitas, CA. She is predeceased by her two sisters: Barbara Murray of Augusta, Maine and Helen Murray of Kennebunkport, Maine and will be truly missed by her twelve grandchildren, William, Megan, Kelsey, Patrick, Jackson, Bennet, Sarah, Emma, Caitlin, Nicholas, Claire, Ronan and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main Street, W. Harwich on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4 - 7 PM. A Funeral Mass in Jeanne's honor will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 249 Main St., W. Harwich on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM, followed by a committal service at Island Pond Cemetery, Harwich. Donations in Jeanne's memory may be made to the Family Pantry of Cape Cod, 133 Queen Anne Rd, Harwich, MA 02645.
